Description: Notice for a SOLE SOURCE/BRAND NAME requirement in accordance with the 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1), Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 6, 6.302-1, Only one responsible source, for a Covert Outdoor Surveillance Camera System. TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE; NAICS 561621, SIZE STD $12.5. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) Contracting and General Services Office in Denver, Colorado intends to award Sole Source to CamoCam, Corydon, IN 47112, a commodity (product) requirement for a Covert Outdoor Surveillance Camera System (Quantity 1; Unit of Issue Each) with remote satellite dialer kit (Quantity 1; Unit of Issue Each). USFWS believes that CamoCam has special expertise since CamoCam is the only company that makes a wireless IR luminator preventing "red glow" when deployed in a covert manner and the only company to make ID programmable sensors; allowing the user to change ID's of sensors for a particular use. Any parties who feel they have the capabilities required to do the above are welcome to provide documentation on their expertise and qualifications for consideration by 10 September 2010, 10:00 AM ET. All such documentation should be sent to the point of contact listed in this announcement. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. The intent of this announcement is to determine if any source(s) exist, and therefore, Solicitation no. 60181AQ629 will not be made available. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.
