Description
INSTRUCTIONS TO VENDORS The United States Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC), 2200 Lester Street, Quantico, Virginia 22134 intends to procure BRAND NAME OR EQUAL CISCO MAINTENANCE. All items quoted must be new. All items quoted must be Trade Agreement Act compliant. Award shall be made to responsive and responsible offeror who has the lowest price and is technically acceptable. If vendors are unable to achieve this delivery request, they are to provide the earliest delivery date when submitting their quote. Please submit the Marine Corps RFQ SF1449 attached to this request to the Contract Specialists name under block 7a. Block 17a should be completed with company name, address, POC and email, CAGE Code, DUNS number, TIN number and phone and fax numbers. Page(s) 2 and 3 Schedule of Supplies and Services, Unit and Extended Price shall be filled in and total at the bottom. Failure to follow directions could cause the offerors quote to be non-responsive. No other form of quotation will be accepted. Submit responses no later than SEPTEMBER 9, 2010 at 11:00am. Questions will not be accepted by phone; questions shall be emailed to: judith.campbell@usmc.mil. The U.S. Marine Corps has a CISCO REQUIREMENT for which it seeks maintenance support. This maintenance support must enable the Government to maintain its current level of support, and all support (including remote technical support, customer contact, on-site support, replacement parts and installation, core software, and vendor software) must be fully interoperable with and consistent with full maintenance and support of the item. This maintenance support is being requested on a BRAND NAME or EQUAL basis, in accordance with FAR 52.211-6 and shall include the following: [see config sheet above] In addition to meeting the other requirements specified in FAR 52.211-6, if Vendor proposes a non-OEM solution, then Vendor shall also clearly demonstrate how, in providing the maintenance support, it will be able to provide: (1) replacement parts and installation requirement (including, where Vendor proposes to meet this requirement with non-OEM parts, how these non-OEM parts will meet the Government's requirement); (2) core software (including, where Vendor proposes to meet this requirement with non-OEM software, how this non-OEM software will meet the Government's requirement);and (3) Vendor software (Enterprise, Application, or Enhanced Feature Software, but excluding Core Software) that is interoperable with, integrates with, and provides for full functionality, of the existing BAN/LAN SERVER WARRANTY.
