Description
North Atlantic Regional Contracting Office (NARCO) intends to competitively award a commercial Personal Services contract, for a Radiation Medical Dosimetrist located at the Department of Radiology, Walter Reeed Army Medical Center, Washington DC. The solicitation is restricted 100% Small Business Set Aside for Small Business concerns. NAICS Code: 621111. This requirement for Radiation Medical Dosimetrist services includes, but is not limited to the following: Perform complete physical examination on adults, children and pregnant women; Order and perform pertinent diagnostic tests; Analyze the data collected to determine health status; Formulate a problem list; Develop and implement, with the individual and family, a plan of care to promote, maintain and restore health to include prescribe medications in accordance with standards of care/national guidelines; Evaluate the clients response to the health care provided and the effectiveness of the care with the individual and family; Modify the plan and intervention as needed; Collaborate with other health care professionals in meeting individual and family health care needs; Refer individuals and families to other health care professionals as appropriate; Record all pertinent data about the client including history and physical examination, problems identified, interventions provided, results of care and plans of follow up or referral; Coordinate the services required to meet individual and family needs for health care; FNPs shall perform within the scope of clinical privileges granted by the medical treatment facility (MTF).Workload includes either scheduled or emergency requirements for care. All offerors must be registered in Central Contractor Registration database, www.ccr.gov. Estimated start date is on or about 01 Oct 2010.
