- RECOVERY-- This notice is provided for information purposes only. NASA DrydenFlight Research Center (DFRC) intends to issue a task order to West Virginia HighTechnology Consortium Foundation, Fairmont, West Virginia. Under this task order WestVirginia High Technology Consortium Foundation shall develop a system called theAssessment Environment which is comprised of a representative flight critical system andsystem to provide test functions (input generation and output recordings). TheAssessment Environment is comprised to two major components: the System Under Test (SUT)and the Verification and Validation Research Test Bench. The SUT contains an IntegratedModular Architecture system which represents the system which is to be verified andvalidated using the methods and techniques developed by the research. The Verificationand Validation Research Test Bench provides the means to perform testing and recordingthe results. The contractor shall provide the government with Assessment Environmenthardware, software and system documentation. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is541712Research and Development Aircraft and the small business size standard for thisprocurement is 1,500 employees.The anticipated award date is on or before September 30, 2010.
