Description
The purpose for this amendment is to clarify the following question of the Q&A: Question 15. Verify conduit type, EMT or PVC? ANSWER: Electrical Metallic Tubing (EMT) conduit will be used on EXPOSED exterior and within mechanical rooms. Existing interior conduit will be left as is and can be re-used if present. COMBINED SYNOPSIS - SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS (IAW FAR 12.603 (c)) (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. FAR 13.5 also applies. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) This solicitation/synopsis reference number is F1M3E70112A001 and is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-44, Effective 8 Jul 2010. (iv) This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business. The associated NAICS code is 561621with a $12.5 million size standard. (v) Contractors shall submit a lump sum quote utilizing the provided quote sheet in addition to an itemized price list for a Digital Video Surveillance System to included all necessary materials and installation (see SOW). The itemized price list shall be clear, concise, and in sufficient detail for effective evaluation. An optional site visit will be conducted on 20 August 2010 at 10:00 AM EST and is highly encouraged. All contractors shall meet on the second floor of bldg 503, Charleston AFB. Contact, Tamara Lee, at 843-963-5158 NLT 18 Aug 2010 by 4:30 PM EST with the names of all who plan to attend. You must have a valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and vehicle registration to get on base. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered. (vi) F1M3E70112A001 - Digital Video Surveillance System on Charleston Air Force Base, South Carolina. (See attached statement of work). (vii) Delivery for this acquisition is FOB Destination Charleston AFB, SC. (viii) The following clauses and provisions are incorporated and will remain in full force in any resultant award: (full text of clauses and provisions may be accessed electronically at this website: http://farsite.hill.af.mil) FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial. (ix) FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation-Commercial Items Evaluation. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers in the following relative order of importance: 1.Technical capability of the item offered to meet the Government requirement. 2. Price. The Government will evaluate the total price of the offer for the award purposes.
