- The Department of Veterans Affairs, Augusta GA (VISN 7), is issuing a solicitation for maintenance and cleaning of pools and therapeutic spas at the Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center, Augusta GA. This solicitation cancels and replaces the previous solicitation number VA-247-10-RP-0284 due to a lack of responses from SDVOSB. This solicitation is issued as a commercial item in accordance with FAR Part 12 and shall be evaluated in accordance with FAR part 13. The RFP VA-247-10-RP-0284 will be advertised as 100% Veterans Owned Small Business set aside with NAICS Code 561790 with a size standard of $7.0 million. Only offerors from those firms regularly established in business of providing this type of service will be considered. This solicitation will be advertised and available for bidding on the Federal Business Opportunities website o/a 27 August 2010. Offerors are advised they are responsible for obtaining any and all posted amendments. Any and all questions regarding this solicitation must be in writing on company letterhead to include telephone number, fax number and point of contact to the Network Contracting Office, Augusta VAMC, Nicole A. Beasley, Contracting Officer, Bldg 110, Room 2E111, 1 Freedom Way, Augusta GA 30904 or fax 478-274-5591 no later than 31 August 2010. NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
