- Recovery Act - Request for Quotation - Indian Health Service Product AcquisitionProject Number: D10PS18525 RECOVERY ACT PROJECT: THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE TO GSA CONTRACT HOLDERS (IT Schedule 70) WHO CAN PROVIDE MISCELLANEOUS COMPUTER PRODUCTS AND ACCESSORIES AND INSTALLATION. The Department of Interior (DOI), National Business Center (NBC), Acquisition Services Directorate (AQD), Herndon Office on the behalf of the Indian Health Servie (IHS), is soliciting qualified GSA firms to submit responses to a Request for Quotation for information technology equipment and accessories with installation for multiple health centers that are operated by IHS. The Indian Health Service (IHS), Division of Information Technology Operations (ITO) is intending to use Recovery Act funds for this procurement. The funding was included in the programs OMB Spend Plan for the Recovery Act as a component of the IT Infrastructure upgrade in support of Meaningful Use (ARRA-I-001). IHS-ITO provides core network services and support to federal and tribal health care facilities in over 33 states. The hardware, software, and/or services associated with this acquisition directly address the equipment needs in support of ARRA related work as well as continuity and compatibility with existing equipment within IHS-ITO. This acquisition supports the objective expected from the spending of ARRA funds as noted in the IHS-ITO ARRA Implementation Plan for Health Information Technology. This plan has been approved by OMB and is posted on www.recovery.gov. The objective of this acquisition is to purchase miscellanoues brand name or equal computer equipment and accessories with installation for the IHS. The Acquisition Services Directorate intends to issue this requirement as a firm fixed price competitive delivery order to eligible GSA IT Schedule 70 contract holders only. The NAICS code for this requirement is 334111, "Electronic Computer Manufacturing", size standard 1,000 employees. TAS is 75 9/0 0389 The contract will contribute materially to IHS' successful completion of its responsibilities under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009.
