- Please see attached solicitation for project information The proposed procurement is 100% set aside for small business with a NAICS Code of 561730 and with a small business size standard not to exceed an average annual receipt for the preceding three fiscal years of $7 Million, including world wide affiliates. The U. S. Army Corps of Engineers require the contractor to furnish all labor, supervision, materials, equipment and supplies to remove all trees and brush in accordance with the statement of work provided in the solicitation. The place of performance is Local Flood Protection Project (LFPP) Hornell, NY, Steuben County. The work shall commence no later than 10 days after award of the contract and completed by 30 September 2010. For the benefit of prospective bidders, a site inspection is highly recommended. Contact Leon Skinner at 607-692-3915 to coordinate site visits. All questions shall be submitted via e-mail to linda.evans@usace.army.mil. Bids can be submitted via e-mail or mail to U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Contracting Division, Simplified Acquisition Team, Attn: Linda Evans, P. O. Box 1715, Baltimore, MD 21203 or hand carried to U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, 10 South Howard Street, Room 7000, Baltimore, MD. Bids are due by 7 September 2010 at 10am. The solicitation will be available at the close of business o/a 27 August 2010 to interested vendors. The media through which the Government chooses to issue this solicitation will be the Internet only. This solicitation will not be issued in paper. Solicitation will be available through download from Federal Business Opportunity (fbo.gov). You must be CCR (http://www.ccr.gov) registered to access or create an account through Federal Business Opportunity. If you do not have an account with Federal Business Opportunity, you will be locked out from obtaining a hard copy of the solicitation.
