Description
Special Notice: RECOVERY - Provide Support Services for NIH ARRA Barrier Door Cardkey Security System. Pre-solicitation Notice: NIHOF2010215-A This Notice is provided for informational purposes only. This opportunity will be awarded as a task order under a current 8(a) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to: Chugach World Services, Contract Number HHSN292200900003I. The contractor shall provide factory certified security integration for the NIH exiting system manufactured by Andover Contiuum, 4th generation or newer, with a minimum of five years of installation experience. The Andover/Integral ContiuumSI Security System is a proprietary computer based security system. The contractor must be able to provide turnkey security system services. TASK DESCRITION: This is a general description of the scope or purpose of the acquisition. The designated location at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) campus in Maryland requires design and installation of security doors with monitoring systems. The contractor shall provide security services for about 250 doors, with an option for 75 additional doors, exact listings will be developed upon Task Order award. Door security devices will be monitored from a central campus location, and security devices will be integrated into existing Data Gathering Panels (DGP). The Contracting Officer is Mr. Jeff Battle, battlej2@mail.nih.com. THIS TASK ORDER WILL BE AWARDED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT OF 2009.
