- Overside Pump Housing Overside Pump Housing This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; therefore, quotes are being requested. This requirement is being issued as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside under Request for Quote (RFQ) No. W912P8-T-0154 and being procured as a Firm Fixed Price Contract under FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. The designated NAICS Code is 331513 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineer District, New Orleans, has a requirement for the following requirements: The work consists of the contractor furnishing all labor, materials, services, equipment, facility, etc. needed to fabricate, cast, weld, machine, assemble, test, inspect, preserve, pack, mark and deliver new overside pump housing. Contractor will build freight cost into each line item. A single firm-fixed contract will be made to the responsible and responsive offeror having the lowest price. Offerors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be eligible for contract award or payment from any DoD activity. Information on registration may be obtained by calling 1-888-227-2423 or via the internet at http://www.ccr.gov. Offerors must also be registered in ORCA at http://orca.bpn.gov and have completed the annual representations and certifications. Offerors are also encouraged to post notices of prospective subcontracting opportunities on the Small Business Administration subnet, http://web.sba.gov/subnet. All responsible sources may submit a quote for consideration. You will need the adobe acrobat reader for.pdf files ( www.adobe.com ) in order to open most files posted by the New Orleans District. All quotes should include the following minimum information: Company Name, Address, Cage Code and DUNS Number, Taxpayer I.D. Number, Payment Terms (Net 30) and/or Discount Terms, Point of Contact, Phone Number, Fax Number and Email Address. The Contracting Officer for this RFQ is Major Ross B. Lindsey at (504) 862-2888. Quotes shall be emailed to ross.b.lindsey@usace.army.mil not later than 2:00 PM CST, 15 September 2010.
