- IMPORTANT INFO!!! "This is a request for information. Funds are not presently available for this requirement. The Government's obligation is contingent upon the availability of funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on part of the Government for any obligation to contract or payment may arise until funds are made available and until the Contractor received notice by way of written agreement from the Contracting officer." This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued, paper copies of this solicitation will not be available. This is a commercial solicitation using Simplified Acquisition Procedures found in FAR Part 13, solicitation no. is F1U3S10204A003 and is issued as a request for quotes (RFQ) on August 27, 2010. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-23. FAR clause descriptions are available via the Internet at http://farsite.hill.af.mil/. The set-aside for this solicitation is 100% Small Business. NAICS code: 423910. Size Standard: 100 People. This solicitation is for the following: Request 2 Custom Designed Golf Simulators. Specs are as follows. 2 Custom 12'7"W X 10'H Golf Simulator Enclosure to include Floors, Walls, and Ceiling. Extra strength Hitting/viewing screen. Specially designed computer featuring the following: Intel Pentium Quad Core Processor Microsoft XP Pro Software Platform High Definition XGA Projection Unit Like the Panasonic PT-F300U 17" LCD Touch Screen Game Command System Commercial Grade Floor Covering High Quality Hitting Mat including Simulated sand and rough Infrared Ball Tracking System Full Swing's E6 Living Environment Golf Course Software Featuring 15 High Res Championship Golf Courses, Interactive Practice Facility, Multiple Application Long Drive Contest, and Closest To The Pin Interface Custom On-Screen Advertising 1 Lump Sum Installation Cost 1 Lump Sum of Shipping to Eielson AFB Alaska. Please include shipping, cost estimated if needed because of time of shipping, and shipping time. Also please include a statement with your quote stating prices will be good through 1 Oct 2010. The items listed may have proprietary names and part numbers and the description above is from Full Swing Golf Simulator. We will accept equal items to be quoted. This above description is to be used as a guide to what we would like to have. Again equal items are allowed. To be considered for award, offers of "equal" products, including "equal" products of the brand name manufacturer, must meet the salient physical, functional, or performance characteristic specified in this solicitation, clearly identify the item by brand name, if any, and make or model number. Include descriptive literature such as illustrations, drawings, or a clear reference to previously furnished descriptive data or information available to the Contracting Officer and clearly describe any modification the offeror plans to make in a product to make it conform to the solicitation requirements. Mark any descriptive material to clearly show the modification. The Contracting Officer will evaluate "equal" products on the basis of information furnished by the offeror or identified in the offer and reasonably available to the Contracting Officer. The Contracting Officer is not responsible for locating or obtaining any information not identified in the offer. Unless the offeror clearly indicates in its offer that the product being offered is an "equal" product, the offeror shall provide the brand name product referenced in the solicitation. The estimated date of delivery will be 30 Oct 2010 with FOB: Destination for delivery to 354 CONS/LGCA; Eielson AFB, AK 99702. The Government will award a firm-fixed price contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: low price and technical acceptability.
