Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The U.S. Army Test and Evaluation Command have a requirement to acquire 4 each, Sentric2, 4 /channel MPEG4 Video Recorder, comprising of 19 rackmount enclosure with 2 removable media bays, with two hard discs each complete with caddy (note: rotating disc, not SSD), 2X PMC-281 MPEG4 encoder/decoder cards, Sentric2 software with runtime license (including web control interface), support CD and user manual, based on brand name or equal. The following salient characteristics apply: Standard configurations record and play up to four channels of 1080p60 HD video and audio in real-time at full or adjustable frame-rate, records video uncompressed or with hardware accelerated JPEG2000 or MPEG4 compression; Full network integration supporting the transmission and receipt of video and control data over Ethernet; Provides comprehensive recording of metadata with video such as embedded GPS, timestamp data, or tagged events; Built-in self-test and status monitoring; Extensive customization capability such as adding more channels and different types of video input/output; Customized systems can support more channels or alternative video standards, resolutions, and frequencies; Supports four composite, four RGB analog, and four digital DVI video inputs embedded with audio; Supports multiple digital DVI outputs; Solid state or rotating high speed disk storage; Capable of storing 14 hrs or more of 1280x1024 60Hz VGA video with hot swappable disk drives; Software support for Linux, VxWorks, Windows; Available in rugged and commercial grade system configurations and as board-level sub-systems for integration functionality into existing embedded systems; Playback recorded video at normal, fast or slow speed with event marking during recording or playback; Supports local playback or software based client playback; Rugged system configuration: 0c to 50c Op temp, -40c to +85c Non-op temp, 0 95% Op humidity, VibSine 2g Peak, 15-3k Hz, Vib random 0.01 g2/Hz, 15-2k Hz, Shock, 20g; Supports UDP, RTP and DEFSTAN0082 network protocols; Integrated network distribution of captured or recorded video, audio and metadata. Offeror shall submit with offer, brand name, if any, make or model number and include descriptive literature such as illustrations, drawings or a clear reference to previously furnished descriptive data or information showing that the items meet the salient characteristics in this solicitation. The offer will be considered non-responsive if no literature is provided on the product that is being offered as an equal item. The information provided will used solely for evaluation purposes. The proposed purchase order will be awarded as firm fixed price. The NAICS code is 334310 with size standard of 750. All respondents must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR), and have a valid DUNS number, Cage Code, and Tax Identification Number.
