Description
The USDA-Agricultural Research Service at the Plant Genetics Research Unit (PGRU) in Columbia, MO has a requirement for a Detailed Hormone Analysis of Maize Root Samples. There will be 24 samples and they need to be analyzed for the following hormones: ABA-type compounds as well as auxins indole-3-acetic acid IAA, indole-3-butyric acid IBA; indole-3-acetic acid aspartate IAA-Asp; indole-3-acetic acid glutamate IAA-Glu; N-(Indole-3-ylacetyl)-alanine IAA-Ala; N-(Indole-3-yl-acetyl)-leucine IAA-Leu); cytokinins (cis and trans zeatin Z, cis and trans zeatin riboside ZR, cis and trans zeatin-O-glucoside ZOG, dihydrozeatin dhZ, dihydrozeatin riboside dhZR, isopentenyl adenine 2ip; isopentenyl adenosine iPA) and gibberellins. THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY and the SOLICITATION IS NOT CURRENTLY AVAILABLE. This notice is for information and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or an obligation on the part of the government. The purpose of this notice is to identify any qualified business (large or small) including Small Disadvantaged businesses (SBD), Historically Underutilized businesses (HubZone), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), and 8(a) Small Businesses that are interested and capable of providing the requirement of USDA-ARS-PGRU. The NAICS code for this requirement is 541712 and the size standard to qualify as a small business is 100 employees. All interested parties must have a DUNS number, Taxpayer Identification Number, and be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (www.ccr.gov). The deadline for responding to this Sources Sought Notice is September 2, 2010.
