- Description
- NASA/MSFC has a requirement for assistance with integration of environmental datainto an electronic information support system - Syndrome Reporting Information System(SYRIS) for public health officials and clinical health care providers. ARES Corporationwill provide the modification to SYRIS to allow for the integration on PREAM model outputfor use by the public health community. NASA/MSFC intends to purchase the consulting srevices from ARES Corporation. The SYRISsystem was developed by ARES Corporation and the software is propritary. They also havecritical knowledge required to modify the SYRIS system. The Government does not intend to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform theeffort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 4:30 p.m. local timeon 8/24/2010. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purposeof determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. Adetermination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and opencompetition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretionof the government.Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.
