Description
RFP The Air Force Office of Scientific Research (AFOSR) is releasing a solicitation for the National Defense Science and Engineering (NDSEG) Fellowship Program (Request for Proposal (RFP) FA9550-10-R-0001). In accordance with Section L-III, Paragraph 2.2.2, Table 2.1, the date(s) and time(s) set forth for receipt of proposals is as follows: 1. Relevant Past and Present Performance (07 Sep 10, 4:30 pm EST) 2. Executive Summary, Mission Capability, Cost/Price, and Contract Documentation (20 Sep 10, 4:30 pm EST) Exchanges during the source selection process may include clarifications, communications, and discussions as necessary. An ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors so these concerns can be communicated to the appropriate Government personnel. The ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of the proposal or in the source selection process. When requested, the ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The ombudsman should only be contacted with issues or problems that have been previously brought to the attention of the Procuring Contracting Officer (PCO) and could not be satisfactorily resolved at that level. The ombudsman for this acquisition is Karen Sue Hunter, (937) 904-4407. During the conduct of the source selection, contact with other than the PCO regarding this acquisition by potential or participating offerors is not allowed, as it may jeopardize the source selection process. In accordance with the RFP Section L-III, paragraph 2.1.1, the PCO is the sole point of contact for this acquisition. The Source Selection Authority is the only person with authority to release information regarding the ongoing source selection. If questions pertaining to this acquisition are directed to your organization by other than these two individuals, the inquiry should be forwarded to the PCO, Julia Fitzpatrick, (937) 255-0208 or email julia.fitzpatrick@afosr.af.mil.
