- Description
- The United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Office of Small Business Programs (OSBP) anticipates conducting a competition limited to 8(a) certified small businesses for services to create, manage and monitor an EPA Minority Academic Institutions (MAI) Student Internship Program. This requirement was previously solicited as an 8(a) sole source procurement under PR-HQ-09-12924. No award was made from the previous solicitation. This procurement will be conducted under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation, and the policies and procedures in FAR 19.805. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541611, Administrative Management and General Management Consulting Services. The small business Size Standard is $7.0 Million. The Request for Proposals (RFP) will be posted on the Internet on or about September 3, 2010. Proposals shall be due approximately thirty (30) days after the RFP issuance date. EPA will award one (1) contract and the anticipated contract type will be a hybrid of firm fixed price with interns ordered through individual task orders. The period of performance is expected to be one base year with four (4) one-year option periods. For detailed information on Statement of Work (SOW) requirements, a draft copy of the SOW is currently posted on the Internet at the following website: http://www.epa.gov/oamhpod1/admin_placement/1012754/index.htm The formal solicitation, amendments, procurement updates and other related information will be posted on the website listed above as they become available. Interested parties are advised to periodically monitor the above website for updates concerning this procurement. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. No further announcement will be made via FedBizOpps and the solicitation will be released after SBA acceptance for the 8(a) program.
