Box 610, Center Valley, PA 18034-0610 as the only responsible source that can provide the automated endoscope reprocessor that is validated by Olympus for reprocessing of Olympus flexible endoscopes. NAICS 339112, with a Size Standard of 500 employees for reporting actions purposes. There are no set-aside restrictions for this requirement. The following will be procured for the Portland VA Medical Center (PVAMC). LINE ITEM 0001: 2 each, OER-PRO, Olympus Reprocessor LINE ITEM 0002: 2 each, MF01-0033PL, External Pre-Filtration System with Gauges, Regulator and Shut-Off Valve. LINE ITEM 0003: 2 each, MF01-0015PL, 1.0 Micron External Filter for Pre-Filtration system LINE ITEM 0004: 2 each, MF01-0014PL, 0.45 Micron External Filter for Pre-Filtration system LINE ITEM 0005: 6 each, ALDAHOL, High Level Disinfecting Chem 4GA/CA. LINE ITEM 0006: 4 each, ENDOQUICK, Detergent 3-2L / case LINE ITEM 0007: 4 each, 3M Comply Test Strip, 2.1% GA Monitor 2-Bottles per case. LINE ITEM 0008: 6 each, MAJ-1546, ID Clips, Sticker and Sticker Cover LINE ITEM 0009: 6 each, MAJ-1545, RFID Scope Tag and 2 Bands Functional Characteristics: "The OER-Pro is the only automated endoscope reprocessor in the US validated by Olympus for reprocessing of Olympus flexible endoscopes. "The OER-Pro is the only automated endoscope reprocessor that utilizes RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) for automated traceability of Olympus flexible endoscopes and facility operators. "The OER-Pro is the only automated endoscope reprocessor with an FDA-cleared cleaning claim that was validated by Olympus to replace steps in the manual reprocessing procedure as described in the Olympus Reprocessing Manual. "Olympus has only validated compatibility with ultrasonic cleaning as performed in the OER-Pro. "Aldahol is the only high-level disinfectant validated for material compatibility in an automated endoscope reprocessor that utilizes a dedicated high-level disinfectant. Dedicated high-level disinfectants used by the Steris Reliance EPS, ASP Evotech, and Medicators DSD Edge and Advantage are not validated for material compatibility by Olympus for Olympus flexible endoscopes. Regulatory Requirements: The OER-PRO and all of the components, shall be compliant with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) requirements to market and deliver medical products for use in the United States of America, even should delivery be requested outside of the United States. The claims made for the product shall comply with the regulations of the FDA with respect to products for marketing and delivery of a medical product for use in the United States of America, even should delivery be requested outside of the United States. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document exists for this requirement. However, parties interested in responding to this notice shall submit technical data, including cost, sufficient to determine capability in providing the same product. All capability statements received by closing of this notification of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
