Description

RECOVERY - This contract modification is being awarded in accordance with the American RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT OF 2009. This action modifies an existing contract with Westat, Inc. (DUNS 049508120) in Rockville, MD to provide funding to utilize the contract's coordinating center activities to support of the Multi-Cohort Eating and Activity Study for Understanding Reporting Error (MEASURE). A cost reimbursement contract rather than a fixed-price contract is appropriate for this acquisition because of the absence of precise specifications and difficulties in estimating costs with accuracy. The contract was awarded through competitive acquisition procedures.
