- Updated FBO Post First Floor: Standard Window Sets - 25 sets (lower and upper) lower (44 1/2" wide by 15 1/4" tall) and upper ( 45 1/2" wide by 39 1/4" tall) Bad Film - 1 (lower, 44 1/2" wide by 15 1/4" tall) - MYLAR repair/replacement required Non-standard Window Sets - 3 sets (lower and upper) lower (31 1/2" wide by 6" tall) and upper (38 1/2" wide by 67 1/2" tall) Bad Film - 3 (lower, 31 1/2" wide by 6" tall) - MYLAR repair/replacement required Non-standard Single - 1 (25" wide by 43" tall) Second Floor: Standard Window Sets - 49 sets (lower and upper) lower (44 1/2" wide by 15 1/4" tall) and upper (45 1/2" wide by 39 1/4" tall) Bad Film - 2 (lower, 44 1/2" wide by 15 1/4" tall) - MYLAR repair/replacement required TOTALS: 74 - Standard Window Sets (lower and upper): lower (44 1/2" wide by 15 1/4" tall) and upper ( 45 1/2" wide by 39 1/4" tall) 3 - Bad Film (lower, 44 1/2" wide by 15 1/4" tall) - MYLAR repair/replacement required ***There are 22 windows with failed gas seals (lower (44 1/2" wide by 15 1/4" tall)); these lower windows will not be replaced. The vendor shall tint/glaze the windows as is, and repair/replace the Mylar if required*** 3 - Non-standard Window Sets (lower and upper): lower (31 1/2" wide by 6" tall) and upper (38 1/2" wide by 67 1/2" tall) 3- Bad Film (lower, 31 1/2" wide by 6" tall) - MYLAR repair/replacement required 1 - Non-standard Single: (25" wide by 43" tall) 1. New closeout date for quotes will be 31 August 2010 at 1:00 P.M. 2. Blinds: Tall vertical blinds will be removed by the Government before work begins; Long horizontal blinds shall be popped out of the socket and re-installed by contractor. 3. Furniture: Several rooms have furniture that would need to be moved before work may start in the room. Contractor shall have to inform the Government if they need the furniture moved to a different room or if moving furniture a few feet would suffice. Furniture will be moved by Government. 4. Are there any restricted areas? Answer: No. 5. Period of Performance: 30 days from issue of notice to proceed. 6. Another walkthrough on 24 August 2010 at 1:00 PM will be provided. Please provide names of those wishing to attend. Attendees shall meet at the Visitor's Center off of Hwy 23 at the Spirit Gate entrance. A photo ID is required for base access. 7. The required tint / glaze shall be of a medium bronze in color. A sample of tint / glaze is required by the closeout date for quotes. Please submit the sample with your proposal. 8. Working hours: M-F 7:30 -16:00 9. The tint / glaze will be placed over inside of the windows. 10. The current bomb blast Mylar will need to be repaired/replaced on a total of six (6) windows identified previously.
