- This is the follow-on solicitation notice/Modification-Addendum to the pre-solicitation notice, same requirement, posted 29 July 2010. The Naval Inventory Control Point, 027 Contracts Department, Mechanicsburg, PA,intends to procure specialized and technical support services for support of the Commander, U.S. Pacific Fleet's, Navy's Afloat Maintenance Training Strategy (NAMTS), in accordance with FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation. NAMTS skill training is conducted as an integral part of the Naval Shipyard and Regional Maintenance Centers production process. These services include: analytical, technical, administrative, operational, and facilitation support for the NAMTS, a training strategy planned to ensure that qualified and proficient craftsmen are available to fill core sea billets that enable COMFLTFORCOM to plan and execute Navy wide training and personnel plan programs. The requirement will be a small business set aside. Participating vendors must be registered on the Central Contractor Registration, http://www.ccr.gov to receive an award. The resulting contract shall include a base period of one year with two 1-year option periods. Solicitation N00104-10-R-Q335 is now available electronically, 13 August 2010, via the NAVICP eProcurement tool. Parties interested in this requirement shall contact Debra Kessler, Debra.Kessler@navy.mil, (717) 605-7327,Contracting Officer (KO). Alternate, Valerie.Hawthorne@navy.mil. NAVICP will utilize an on line communication/collaboration tool called the eProcurement system to post the Request for Proposal, attachments and other pertinent information. All communications between the Contracting Officer and the vendor, as well as uploading of technical and price proposals will occur through the tool. The Contracting Officer will initiate vendor registration in the eProcurment system to allow access and participation.
