- The contractor shall furnish all material, labor, and equipment required to remove the existing carpet and flooring substrate and replace with new flooring, including carpet and vinyl sheet flooring throughout the U.S. Probation Office space on the 3rd floor of the Wichita U.S. Courthouse, 401 North Market, Wichita Kansas 67202 Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for the U.S. Probations Office Carpet Replacement Project located at the Wichita Federal Courthouse, 401 N. Main, Wichita, KS. Time for completion: 60 calendar days after notice to proceed (NTP). Estimated cost range: $25,000 - $100,000. Bonds will be required. The project involves "Removing the existing carpet and flooring substrate and replace with new flooring, including carpet and vinyl sheet flooring throughout the U.S. Probation Office space on the 3rd floor of the Wichita U.S. Courthouse, 401 North Market, Wichita Kansas 67202, per the Scope of Work and drawings attached and hereby incorporated." All bidders are required to make a scheduled site visit at the Wichita Federal Courthouse. Visits will be by appointment only and can be scheduled with Gary Kahle, 785-249-2210 or Bill McClain, 785-249-4099. All contract employees shall obtain a security clearance and background check in order to perform work on the premises. Security clearance instructions may be obtained from the GSA Kansas Office (785-295-7700).
