- The Department of Transportation (DOT), Maritime Administration (MARAD) has a requirement to purchase a Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) system to replace existing system at the Suisun Bay Reserve Fleet (SBRF) located in Benicia, CA. Installation and provision of maintenance services for system are also required. The solicitation DTMA4Q10041 will be issued by electronic posting on or about 8/11/10. It is a Small Business set aside under the NAICS Code 561621for SECURITY SYSTEMS SERVICE (EXCEPT LOCKSMITHS). The business size standard is $12.5M. The contract type will be a firm-fixed-priced -price. A site-visit will be held on Thursday, 8/26/2010 at 9AM. Contact Mr. Connick for meeting details at bill.connick@dot.gov. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE REQUIRED: CCTV SECURITY SYSTEMFOR SUISUIN BAY RESERVE FLEETPurchase, installation and perventive maintenance of a new CCTV system to replace existing System.Install 8 new remote control cameras with day/night capabilities and whether protection at various locations thru out the fleet to replace existing CCTV System that is currently installed. The cameras will be placed at existing or near existing camera mounts. The system is to be network based and contain DVR recording capability to 16 terabytes.The system is to include 2 new color monitoring displays at the base station monitoring area located at the SBRF office barge (APL).The System is to be microwave based or other wireless transmission based between all cameras and base monitoring station there is no wiring from the remote ship locations.System is to include all hardware mounting equipment. System is to include 1 training session. System is also to include a maintenance agreement for the operation and quarterly preventative maintenance of the system. The preventative maintenance service will consist of the following:1.On a monthly basis, the entire system is to be operated and inspected for proper functionality of all components. Troubleshoot any problems incurred, clean and make adjustments as needed in accordance with the component manufactures' specifications to insure peak performance. Provide a written service report of routine work accomplished and recommendations for any repairs required.2.Provide 16 hours of on-site technical service to be used as needed for troubleshooting and repair of the system beyond the quarterly routine visits specified above.3.One day of technical training for up to seven (7) SBRF personnel in the proper operation of the system. 4.Telephone technical support during business hours.5.Preferred/priority service status for services calls outside of quarterly routine visits.6.Emergency service during regular working hours, with a technician on-site within 4 hours of call.7.Discount on parts of at least 10%. Pricing in accordance with vendors' published service rates.8.Loaner equipment if defective components cannot be repaired within 24 hours.
