- DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS (VA) SEEKS TO LEASE SPACE The VA seeks to lease up to 2,500 rentable square feet of temporary office space in the Eatontown, NJ, area. The space must be contiguous, on no more than one floor, and can be provided by new construction or modification of existing space. On-site parking of at least 18 employee spaces and 2 visitor spaces is required. A lease for up to 4 years will be considered. To be considered, space must be within or bordering a delineated area as follows: North: County Road 537 South: West Park Avenue East: Kings Highway to Main Street West: Hope Road Offerors must provide evidence that properties are outside the 100-year flood plain. VA staff will conduct a market survey of properties offered for lease. The Government is limited by law (41 C.F.R. § 102-73.55) to pay no more than the appraised fair rental value for space. RESPONDENTS ARE ADVISED THAT THE VA ASSUMES NO RESPONSIBILITY TO AWARD A LEASE BASED UPON RESPONSES TO THIS ADVERTISEMENT.
