Description

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Bio-Rad, 2000 Alfred Nobel Drive, Hercules, CA, for continued maintenance of Bio-Rad products, not to exceed one year. The products are as follows: Bio-Plex System S/N LX110005259303; PCR Machine iCyclers S/N 582BR 016590 and S/N 582BR 016594, iCycler Thermal Cyclers S/N 582BR 16545 and S/N 582BR 16542, MJ Mini Thermocycler PTC0148 S/N MM04640, DNA engine Tetrad 2 Peltier Thermal Cycler S/N TA002061 with 4 Alphas (S/Ns AL096310, AL0986187, AL096421, AL109734), DNA Engine Tetrad 2 Peltier Thermal Cycler S/N TA002079 with 4 Alphas (S/Ns AL116569, AL095132, AL116327, AL 102358), DNA Engine Tetrad 2 Peltier Thermal Cycler S/N TA002070 with 4 Alphas (S/Ns AL096159, AL096303, AL096665, AL095986), C1000 Thermocycler S/N CC010988, CFX96 Real-Time PCR System S/N 785BR04098, Tetrad 2 Thermocycler S/N TA00315, Versadoc 500s S/Ns 591BR436 and 591BR437, WSA Tetrad 2 S/N TA002455 with 4 Alphas (S/Ns AL106312, AL106316, AL106569, AL106608), Alpha Engine 96V Well S/N AL 106622, Miniopticon S/N MO002206, and Molecular Imager Chemi Doc Model 1708070 S/N 720BR2362, plus options for repair evaluations, field service labor, and reinspection fees. CDC believes that this requirement is met by only one provider. This procurement will be processed under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 and 6.302-2. Only one responsible source and no other sources will satisfy agency requirements. No solicitation is being issued.
