Description

This notice is being publicized in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR ) 5.101 requiring Contracting Officers to disseminate information for proposed contract actions expected to exceed $25,000.00. Further in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1, it is intent of the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) to award a sole source purchase order to Cellebrite USA Corporation for the acquisition of forty-two (42) Universal Forensic Extraction Devices (UFED). The intended order will provide for the procurement of systems necessary to transfer content inclusive of call history, SMS messages, ESN/IMEI Extraction, reporting and QCT file system extraction. Extraction of data can only be to systems not connected to the internet. As a result Cellebrite USA Corp is the only responsible source to provide the necessary equipment to support DE'sA mission. The acquisition will be conducted under the test program described in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Subpart 13.5. The Government anticipates the award on a firm-fixed price purchase order. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotation. A Request for Quotation (RFQ) is not available. Closing date is August 10, 2010 at 10:00 AM Eastern Standard Time.
