Description

The U.S. Geological Survey has a requirement to establish a multiple award indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contract for maintenance, repair, and emergency services for the Research and Survey Vessel Fleet of five belonging to the U.S. Geological Survey. Services are to be delivered to Ann Arbor, MI by September 30, 2011. The procurement is anticipated to include a period of performance of September 30, 2010 through September 29, 2011. The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available on the internet on or about August 5, 2010. The offeror is responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation and amendments (if any). There are four option periods for this requirement. Solicitation 10ERQQ0294 will be issued on or about August 5, 2010 with written proposals due on or about September 7, 2010. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 483114 and the size standard is $500K. The anticipated award date of the contract is September 30, 2010. A vendor must be registered at http://www.ccr.gov to be awarded the contract. This procurement is being conducted under the Test Program for Certain Commercial Items of FAR 13.5. The types of contract will be Multiple-Award Indefinite Delivery Quantity (IDIQ) with fair opportunity task orders for individual maintenance, repair, and emergency services to be completed among the contractors.
