Description

Sole Source Justification SIDE CHANNEL ANALYSIS SYSTEM UPGRADE. The solicitation number is FA8601-10-T-0265. The NAICS Code is 334515. The size standard is 500 employees. The government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). The proposed source is Riscure BV. The purchase is for an upgrade to the Side Channel Analysis System which was purchased in December 2009. Given the requirements of upgrading the existing system, Riscure is the only known source able to satisfy the government's requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, any quotation received within five (5) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Any quotations should be e-mailed to Kathy.Majors@wpafb.af.mil or faxed to Kathy Majors, ASC/PKOBB, 937-656-1412 no later than 11 August 2010. Only proposals received by this date will be considered.
