- Description
- The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Mt. Weather Emergency Operations Center (MWEOC), Mt. Weather, VA 20135-2006, intends to negotiate with Infor Global Solutions, Inc., for the renewal of a maintenance agreement for an enterprise asset management software product, "Infor EAM Enterprise Edition," formerly marketed under the "Datastream 7i" name. A justification of using other than full and open competition, simplified acquisition has been prepared. Infor/Datastream is the manufacturer of the software, is the sole source in the United States and Canada of the software, and owns all proprietary rights thereto. The maintenance agreement for the product, which shall include current patches and upgrades, is considered to be a commercial item IAW FAR Part 13.1. In accordance with FAR 5.2, t his announcement is for informational purposes only. No Request for Quotation will be provided, and telephone requests will not be honored. All inquiries and concerns must be addressed in writing via the e-mail link above within ten calendar days from date of publication of this announcement. Any response must show clear and convincing evidence that the responder can meet the requirements listed herein and competition would be advantageous to the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
