Description
On or about August 15, 2010, the United States Postal Service Vehicles Category Management Center will begin soliciting proposals for the maintenance and repair of thirty (30) electric 2-ton delivery vehicles located throughout New York City in Manhattan, the Bronx, and Queens. Generally, the supplier will maintain systems that relate to the electric drive-train. All other systems (chassis, body, brakes, suspension, tires, interior) will be maintained by Postal Service vehicle maintenance personnel. If your organization wishes to participate in this solicitation to provide these services, please log into http://uspsesourcing.emptoris.com and register. From the login page, click on the "Register Supplier Organization" hyperlink and provide the required information. After you have registered, please notify Gilda A Kenny, United States Postal Service, Purchasing and Supply Management Specialist at gilda.a.kenny@usps.gov of your intent to participate in the Request for Proposal (RFP). Registered organizations will receive log-in credentials to the Postal Service's eSourcing application. A separate electronic message will be sent notifying registrants when the event is open and inviting them to participate in the solicitation. Organizations can register at any time during the event. However, it is recommended that prospective offerors complete their registration prior to Friday, August 13, 2010 at 11:59 PM (CST). Regardless of when an organization registers, bids must be entered into the system by Friday, September 3, 2010 prior to 11:59 PM (CST). Individual extensions will not be granted.
