- rfq sow This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and in accordance with the simplified acquisition procedures authorized in FAR Part 13. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Department of Commerce (DOC), National Marine Fisheries Service, Conservation Biology Division located in Seattle, WA has a requirement for a contractor to provide support for the development and implementation of Atlantis Ecosystem Model for the Gulf of California. The entire solicitation is attached. This is a 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) for this acquisition is 541690 with a small business size standard of $7M. A firm fixed price contract will be issued with period of performance commencing approximately from date of award through Sept 30, 2011 with no option period. All interested parties must respond to this announcement within fifteen (15) calendar days of publication. Vendors responding to RFQ must submit technical proposal and documentation that demonstrate qualifications. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered.
