Description
RFQ CNA 2010 Bid Package, Including Scope of Work RFQ CNA 2010 Synopsis ****ALL QUESTIONS REQARDING RFP MUST BE SUBMITTED VIA EMAIL TO: gushwa.patty@jobcorps.org FOR RESPONSE.**** The CNA (HOT) services to be provided under this subcontract shall conform, at a minimum, to Off-site Health Occupations Training instruction in accordance with provisions set forth in the USDOL Contract, the Policy and Requirements Handbook (PRH) and the Center Standard Operating Procedures and handbooks. 160 hours of training in a Certified Health Occupations Training Program consisting of required 80 hours of supervised classroom and laboratory instruction and 80 hours of supervised clinical practicum per student. Instruction based upon approved Health Occupations Training and utilizing a Registered Nurse Trainer for every 24 students. Training annually for between 150 and 200 students producing a minimum rate of 88% completers who are registered with the Indiana Board of Nursing to become a Certified Nursing Assistant. An additional 20 hours of training for CPR certification, soft skills (pre-employment skills training), comprehensive videos, and examination reviews. The successful bidder will be selected based upon a combination of experience, references, and overall ability to provide necessary training to students. Bidders are placed on notice that this is a competitive process and cost is an important factor. Lowest overall bid does not constitute bid award. The successful bidder must comply with all Federal Acquisition Regulation clauses, be compliant under all related federal statutory requirements and regulations, and provide evidence of licenses/certificates/insurance as required for doing business in the State of Indiana. Companies designated as small business enterprises (e.g. small business, small disadvantaged, women-owned, HUBZone, veteran-owned or service-disabled veteran owned) are preferred. Any package received without documents listed in attached RFQ or unsigned documents will not be considered for review. All interested parties should submit completed bid packet and a written response via email ( gushwa.patty@jobcorps.org ) or by fax, 812-314-6290, or by USPS or other acceptable delivery methods, by 3:00 P.M., Friday August 13, 2010.
