Description
(I) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and in accordance with the simplified acquisition procedures authorized in FAR Part 13. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. THIS IS BEING OFFERED AS A TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. (II) This solicitation is issued as a request for proposal (RFQ). Submit written offers on RFQ Number AG-9702-S-10-0570, Tabletop Lumber. NOTE: This project is funded wholly by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. (III) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-43. (IV) This solicitation is being issued on a full and open competitive basis. The associated NAICS code is 423310, Lumber, Plywood, Millwork, and Wood Panel Merchants. (V) This combined solicitation/synopsis is for purchase of the following commercial item(s)/services: CLIN 0001: 105 each board, 3 inch by 12 inch by 8 feet (3”x12”x8’) Douglas Fir #1 Structural Clear with edges and ends chamfered 1/4”, surfaced four sides (S4S). (VI) Date(s) and place(s) of delivery and acceptance: Delivery required 30 days after receipt of order (or earlier, see X below), location: Idyllwild CA 92349. (VII) FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items (June 2008), applies to this acquisition. Offers will be evaluated on their ability to meet the government's requirements to include Price and Delivery. Preference will be given to quicker delivery. Award determination will be made based on price and delivery, with delivery significantly less important than price. (VIII) The clause at FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items (MAR 2009) applies to this acquisition. (IX) The clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Items (June 2009) applies to this acquisition (applicable subparagraphs are 52.203-6, 52.203-15, 52.204-11, 52.222-3, 52.222-19, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36).
