- RECOVERY - ARRA Grants Policy Implementation RECOVERY ACT ACTION THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY UNDER THE OFFICE OF EXTRAMURAL RESEARCH ELECTRONIC RESEARCH ADMINISTRATION UNDER WYLE INFORMATION SYSTEMS LLC CONTRACT NUMBER HHSN-276-2009-00202U. In accordance with FAR Part 5.7 Publicizing Requirements under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, this is a notification of a modification to an existing, competitively awarded fixed price delivery order using American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) funding. This contract is to provide the eRA community with proficient staff and consultants who possess a wide-range of experience in providing administrative and technical support to the eRA mission. The National Institutes of Health (NIH) must modify purchase order number HHSN-276-2009-00471U with LTS Corporation (DUNS 068212398). Currently, the Vendor provides executive administrative, communications and outreach, data analysis, and project management support to the Office of Extramural Research (OER) Electronic Research Administration (eRA) to enhance user support functions at the NIH. As a result of ARRA funding, the NIH believes that the system improvements can be executed in a timely fashion allowing enhanced user support. The purpose of this modifiReference, revised SOW dated 7/28/2010.cation is to increase the administrative and technical support on the award to facilitate continued system improvements of grants administration directly related to the ARRA funded grants opportunities on behalf of the NIH. The activities and labor categories are within the scope of the existing contract and do not constitute new work. The contractor shall provide resources in quantities and timelines in accordance with, and as notified by, the current ordering processes of the Project Officer to meet agency demands for surge support. Labor Categories and Descriptions Below are the labor categories and descriptions from the existing master contract that may be required under this task order: Technical Information Specialist Provides communications support for upcoming changes in process or policy, new enhancements and defect fixes in any of eRA's 24 software applications associated with the grant process, emergency issues, potential fixes and estimated time for resolution, system downtime and training and outreach requirements. Program Assistant Provides documentation and editorial support to the Technical Information Specialist for the development and implementation of the communication plan. Order number HHSN-276-2009-00471U has been awarded in the amount of $21,028 as of September 28, 2009. The modification to add the labor category, Program Assistant, is at no additional cost to the NIH. This notice is for information purposes only. This is not a RFQ nor is a RFQ available.
