- The Air Combat Command Acquisition and Management Integration Center, (ACC AMIC), Langley AFB VA, is seeking information concerning the availability of capable contractors to deliver a package of upgrades for a REDCOM IGX (Gateway Exchange) secure voice switch, a spares package for the upgraded equipment, and an on-site training package for the upgrade. This is a REDCOM-specific brand name requirement. This Request for Information(RFI)/Sources Sought is concerning the following: REDCOM IGX / HDX (High Density Exchange) Upgrade; - 32 analog lines, 12 Sectera interface ports, and TRANSip VoIP technology suite. - TRANSip includes: integrated Call Controller, Media Gateway (including Media Gateway Controller), SIP trunking capability, licensing for 100 IP registrant (expandable up to 1000 IP registrants per MSU). - Version 3.0A (JITC/APL listed) firmware and a User's Manual on CD-ROM. Features include: MLPP, Toll Restriction, MF Signaling, ISDN, Expanded, Announcer Capability, Custom, HOST, Conferencing, Conference Chaining, Print Site Records, and a factory database. - This system consists of: -- 2 HDX shelf equipped with 120/240 VAC 50-60 Hz power supply, including HDX Controller Board with Ethernet and RS-232 Links, HDX TSI; Ringing Generator; HDX (2U) standard cable tray, Inter- MSU cabling and terminators -- HDX Universal Service Circuit board (USC) -- 4 Line boards (8 circuits per board) -- TRANSip Media Service Circuit (MSC) board -- 3 Sectera Wireline Terminal interface boards (4 circuits per board) -- 6 Cable Harness: Sectera Wireline Terminal interface board to SWT terminal interface (26 pin Female to two 9-pin Male), 9' long -- 2 SWT-R Shelf assembly,with mounting brackets for nine (9) SWT-R terminals (without BDI) -- 1 PCMCIA Card, 2MB SRAM -- 1 REDCOM Link Command System for HDX -- 1 REDCOM MAUI Maintenance and Administration Software for the HDX Add V150.1 and T.38 to HDX---Add Modem over IP (V150.1) and Fax over IP (T.38) to the HDX-C system in above item Spares package for REDCOM IGX-HDX Upgrade consisting of: 1 ea-- HDX Controller board with Ethernet and RS-232 Links 1 ea-- HDX TSI 1 ea-- HDX Universal Service Circuit board (USC) 1 ea-- Sectera Wire Terminal Interface board ( 4 ccts per board) 1 ea-- TRANSip Media Service Circuit (MSC) board 1 ea-- HDX A/C Power Supply (110/240 VAC, 50-60 Hz) Add V150.1 and T.38 to HDX---Add Modem over IP (V150.1) and Fax over IP (T.38) to the spares pkg Shipping via commercial carrier for above items HDX DELTA TRAINING--5-Day course delivered on customer premises for five (5) students, including travel and living expenses for training instructor Configure and provide three (3) HDX shelves of REDCOM equipment to be used for course delivery on customer premises Shipping for three (3) HDX systems for training (including return shipping) On-Site Technical Support for 5 days for REDCOM Technician for Installation of HDX, including travel days and travel and living expenses for installation technician New Equipment ONLY will be accepted; NO remanufactured, renewed, refurbished, or "gray market" items will be accepted by the Government. All items must be covered by the manufacturer's warranty. This RFI/Sources Sought Notice is issued for informational and planning purposes only. This is not a Request for Proposal, a Request for Quotation, or an Invitation for Bids. It is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract for the items contained in the RFI. In addition, the Government is under no obligation to pay for information submitted in response to this RFI, and responses to this notice cannot be accepted as offers. AMIC is currently conducting market research to locate qualified, experienced, and interested potential sources. Capability statements will help determine whether this type of requirement could be set-aside for a small business program, however the Government would reserve the right to go full and open if determined appropriate. The information requested by this RFI will be used within the Air Force to facilitate decision making and will not be disclosed outside of the Government. For purposes of the RFI, the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334210 Telephone Apparatus Manufacturing and the small business size standard is 1,000 employees. If your firm is capable of providing the requirements described in this RFI, please provide a Capability Statement to Mr. Travis Marshall, travis.marshall@langley.af.mil by 5 August 2010 at 1500 (EST). The capability statement should include general information and technical background describing your firm's experience in contracts requiring similar efforts to meet the program objectives. In addition, the following information is requested: (1) Company CAGE Code, DUNS, name, address, point of contact, telephone number and email address; (2) Approximate annual gross revenue; (3) Any small business status (8(a), HUB Zone, veteran-owned, women-owned, etc.); (4) Please indicate which NAICS code(s) your company usually performs under Government contracts
