Description

The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, MD intends to negotiate and award a sole-source, Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) Delivery Order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00421-09-G-0003 with Honeywell International, Inc. of Clearwater, Florida for the procurement of H-764G Embedded GPS/INS (EGI) test assets for the Egyptian SH-2G Program. This delivery order includes the purchase of five (5) EGI test units which will be fitted with an SPS GEM IV Embedded GPS Receiver (EGR). As the designer, developer, and OEM for the H-764G, Honeywell is the only company that has the ability, resources, technology, and documentation necessary to modify, develop, produce, maintain, and support these systems. The authority permitting other than full and open competition is Title 10, U.S. Code 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The estimated period of performance is 12 months beginning after contract award. Numbered Note 22 applies.
