Description

The Securities and Exchange Commission intends to award a sole source contract to TheMarkets.com LLC for user access to TheMarkets.com Database, an internet-based service that provides real-time access to financial analyst reports from brokers via the web with an Application Programming Interface (API). The SEC is awarding this contract in order to conduct analyses for use in reports, studies, memoranda and presentations. The period of performance for this award is: 1 August 2010 through 31 Jul 2011, with 4 Option Years. The SEC intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1. TheMarkets.com LLC is the only known source that possesses the capability required by the SEC. The intent of this synopsis is for informational purposes only, and is not a request for competitive bids; no solicitation will be issued for this sole source requirement and no other information will be provided.
