Description

The project is entitled Repair, Coat and Paint 50,000 Water Tower, Byron, Georgia. Work includes interior preparations and repairs to apply interior coating and paint the exterior of a 50,000 gallon water tower. This is to include all ladders, platforms, and other fixtures that are part of the structure, as well as the underside of the tank roof. The contractor shall be certified or possess a limited certification for the application of Utilithane Polyurethane Coatings to Steel Substrates from Prime Coatings, Inc., for application of the bio-based interior coating. The magnitude of this project is estimated to be between $100,000 and $250,000. No hard copy of the solicitation will be issued. Obtain the solicitation from this website. The solicitation will contain the date and time for a pre-bid meeting. All responsible sources may submit a bid which will be considered. This acquisition is being made in compliance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. As such, it is unrestricted.
