- Appendix E - Regulation 420-90, U.S. Army Appendix D - JEGS Appendix A Mandatory Knowledge Survey for Compliance Solicitation and Performance Work Statement (PWS) Follow-up solicitation posting from synopsis (April 20, 2010) Inspection, Testing, Repair and Maintenance of Lifting Devices at Various Buildings, Various Locations (Buckner, Torii Station, White Beach, Naha Port), Okinawa, Japan. The contractor shall inspect, test, minor repair, and maintain lifting devices and other required works specified below in accordance with (IAW) the TB 43-0142, equipment manufacturer's instructions, procedures, Work Load Requirements and Inspection, Testing, Maintenance (ITM) Tasks (TB 43-0142) in APPENDIX A. Only license qualified personnel shall be assigned to the inspection, testing, and maintenance of lifting devices. The contractor shall submit the ITM comprehensive reports and certification (3sets, bilingual) including findings and recommendations for lifting devices with electronic photographs for each building involved in the project within 30 calendar days of project completion. The contractor shall also provide cost estimates for all the suggested repairs and replacement parts/components. The contractor shall provide written assessments, copies of test results, and recommendations for compliance with all applicable Standards, Codes, Army Regulations and TB 43-0142 within 30 calendar days of project completion. Other regulations apply. For one base year and two option years. Appendices B and C location maps provided by request. Attached - Solicitation/PWS - Appendices - Mandatory Knowledge Survey for Compliance Notice of site-visits: 1. 11 Aug 10 (Wednesday): meet at Bldg 112, CWTF#1 at 0900Hrs and then goes To Bldg 201 & 314, CWTF#2 & 3. 11 Aug 10 (Wednesday): meet at Bldg 811, KTF#2 at 1300Hrs and then goes To Bldg 812 & 815, KTF#2 and then goes to Bldg 710, KTF#1. 2. 12 Aug 10 (Thursday): meet at Bldg T-125, Torii at 0930Hrs and then goes To Bldg 104, Torii. 12 Aug 10 (Thursday): meet at Bldg 360, Torii at 1300Hrs and then goes to Bldg 348 & 352, Torii and then goes to Bldg 284, Torii. 3. 13 Aug 10 (Friday): meet at Bldg 726, White Beach at 0830Hrs and then goes to meet at Bldg 92, Fort Buckner at 1030Hrs and then goes to Bldg 104, Fort Buckner. 13 Aug 10 (Friday): meet at main gate, Naha Port at 1300Hrs and then goes to Bldg 302, Naha Port. All site visits shall be coordinated with the contract administrator at least four days in advance.
