- The Kentucky Air National Guard intends to negotiate a Sole Source Contract with Rapid Response Technology, Inc., for the purchase of a Guardian Angel Rescue Craft. This Guardian Angel Rescue Craft is a water rescue craft capable of being air-dropped and operating in the open ocean conditions is needed to replace the legacy water rescue craft. This watercraft is the Greenough Advanced Rescue Craft currently being produced specifically for the Pararescue teams by Rapid Response Technology, NY, NY as outlined in The 2011 Weapon Systems Modernization Requirements Book. The modernization book can be found at the National Guard Bureau Legislative Liaison Website, http://www.ng.mil/ll/Default.aspx and the NGB A5 COP.
