THE PURPOSE OF THIS AMENDMENT, AMENDMENT 003 IS TO ANSWER QUESTIONS SUBMITTED BY POTENTIAL OFFERORS: Questions: Q. Need to know if you want to proceed with the core diameter being O.H.L. on the O.D. Should be: 226 / is: 231. A.The O.D. of the core is intentionally left oversize so the core can turn down in between centers to ensure the concentricity is complied. Q. Is there an estimate of the percentage of parts that would be coming from Washington DC, vs. Dallas ? A. The estimate depends on what the Federal Reserve order is placed at that time for both locations. Q. Is there normally a standard window of time between pick up of the rollers to be re-covered? (i.e. Monthly, Quarterly) A. No, could vary depending on what the Federal Reserve order is could be every two weeks or once a month, quarterly, etc. Q. Is there any information available on the normal Lot Size of the rollers to be re-covered? A. No, could be 6 rollers to 12 rollers or more it all depends on the Federal Reserve order. Q. The requirement states +/- 0.005 however the diameter written of 9.465-9.468 is only 0.003 please clarify the requirement. 1-10 Inking in Roller (inch) 9.468 (+/- 0.005) (9.465-9.468) A. The I-10 Inking in Roller diameter should be (inch) 9.468 (+/- 0.005). Q. The sample test rollers supplied have no roller identification on them supplied by the Bureau of Engraving and Printing(BEP). For the purpose of identifying these rollers what type of numbering system may we utilize. A. BEP will indentify rollers when received from vender. ALL OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS REMAIN UNCHANGED.
