Description
The Office on Women’s Health requires the services of the Institute on Violence, Abuse and Trauma at Alliant International University (IVATAIU) to plan, provide logistic support and implement meetings for the National Partnership to End Interpersonal Violence (NPEIV) Think Tank and an international conference on violence, abuse and trauma. IVAT shall market the conference to women’s health providers and other allied professionals in the fields of violence, abuse and trauma, and will manage continuing education credits for psychologists, attorneys, nurses, social workers, licensed professional counselors, marriage & family therapists, peace officers, substance abuse counselors, and physicians. The contractor shall: Task 1. Develop agendas, consultant/speaker lists, and evaluation plans to assess the impact of the program and the success of the program logistics Task 2. Increase the number of collaborators for the National Partnership to End Interpersonal Violence • Ensure forty (40) different organizations are represented and participate in the Think Tank September meetings • Identify a minimum of twenty (20) new organizations to become members of the NPEIV Task 3. Provide travel support for 11 attendees to the Think Tank Meeting Task 4. Increase the capacity of the NPEIV to impact the public through various media venues, policy making, community-based organizations, training/mentoring, practice, and research by identifying subject matter experts to join the partnership. Task 5. Provide logistical support and marketing to implement an international Conference on violence, abuse and trauma Task 6. Expand the blueprint for action for ending interpersonal violence by having designated committees form working groups, each with an agenda of activities and tasks. Task 7. Develop the plans for a public awareness and public education campaign Task 8. Produce a final project report of findings, impact, and recommendations.
