Description This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 12.6, "Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items," as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested, and a written solicitation document will not be issued. This solicitation is a "request for quotations (RFQ)". The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-40. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 811213, with a small business size standard of $7 Million. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms & Explosives 99 New York Avenue, NE Washington, DC 20226 is seeking to purchase services for removal/ de-installation of 200 old mobile radios and installation of 200 new mobile radios and their accompanying parts. All interested companies shall provide a quotation for the following: Supplies Unit Total Line Item Description Quantity Price Price N/A Services STATEMENT OF WORK • Remove 200/EACHexisting Motorola radio and associated cables (XTL or ASTRO units) • Install Government furnished Motorola APX radio harness and associated wiring configured with Motorola O3 control head and mounting tray • Install Government furnished 800 MHZ antenna • Install STI-Co AM/FM disguised fender mounted antenna • Install STI-CO Rear deck mounted antenna • Installation/removal work to be performed at the following government facilities (Government to provide shelter & electricity) - 1401 H Street, NW, Suite 900 Washington, DC 20226 - 244A Needy Road Martinsburg, WV 25405 - 521 Progress Drive, Suite N Linthicum, MD 21090 - 6002 Ammendale Road Beltsville, MD 20725 - 45250B Severn Way Sterling, VA 20166 - 122 Calvary Drive Front Royal, VA 22630 The delivery/task order period of performance is August 2 through and including December 31, 2010. Delivery shall be provided no later than 30 days after receipt of order/award of contract. Delivery terms-FOB destination. The government will evaluate information based on the following evaluation criteria: (1) technical capability factor "meeting or exceeding the requirement, and (2) price"]. The Government will award one contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible contractor whose quote conforms to the solicitation, price and other non-cost factors considered. The government intends to award a purchase order as a result of this combined synopsis/solicitation that will include the terms and conditions set forth herein. To facilitate the award process, ALL quotes shall include a statement regarding the terms and conditions herein as follows: "The terms and conditions in the solicitation are acceptable to be included in the award document without modification, deletion, or addition." OR "The terms and conditions in the solicitation are acceptable to be included in the award document with the exception, deletion, or addition of the following:" Quoter shall list exception(s) and rationale for the exception(s).
