- Description
- Attachment 4 - EO Field Guide Attachment 3 - TESP Survey Field Guide Attachment 2 - EO UTM Locations Solicitation This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.. The USDA Forest Service, Unita-Wasatch-Cache National Forest (UWCNF), is soliciting quotes/offers for the following requirement: revisit known element occurrences of the sensitive plant species: Angelica wheeleri (7 EOs), Corydalis caseana (17 EOs) and Erigeron cronquistii (12 EOs) on the UWCNF and related work in compliance with its terms, specifications, and provisions outlined and identified herein. This includes furnishing labor, equipment, supervision, transportation on both roaded and non-roaded forest environment, operating supplies, and incidentals. The 36 element occurrences (EO) are located on various locations throughout the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest in Utah. The majority of these occurrences are historic and have not been re-visited in decades and current status is unknown. The purpose of this work is to determine if; 1. Locations contain valid populations, 2. If locations do contain populations, then collect data to standard per USFS guides, 3. Collect voucher specimens as per USFS direction. 4. If locations do not have populations, then assess if the habitat is valid or is the location erroneous. Offers are due no later than 4:30 P.M. local time, Thursday August 11, 2010 and shall be submitted to: USDA/Forest Service, Utah Acquisitions Support Center, 2222 West 2300 South, Salt Lake City Utah, 84119. For technical clarifications, contact Michael Duncan at mduncan@fs.fed.us or (801)236-3415. Quotes may be faxed to the attention of Charlotte Vanderbilt at 801-975-3483.
