- ****** 7/22/10 - NOTICE. When this project was initially posted we had a estimated bid opening date of August 10, 2010. However, this project came through early and the actual bid opening date is August 5, 2010. The FBO system does not allow us to revise the data from our intial posting. To view the most recent modification/amendment, click here " When you click "here" in the banner, it will take you to the most current info and the response date shows August 5, 2010. ******** OR FS ERFO 101-1201, FSR 39-Emergency Repairs, Wallowa-Whitman National Forest, Baker County, Oregon. This project consists of 11 repair sites over 6.5 miles. The work includes riprap, embankment, aggregate surfacing, drainage and other small items of work. See "Description of Work" for additional details. This project will have a shortened synopsis and ad period due to the urgent need for these road repairs. The estimated ad date is approximately July 27, 2010. The estimated bid opening date is approximately August 10, 2010. THIS SOLICITATION IS OFFERED FOR FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION ON AN UNRESTRICTED BASIS Work shall be completed by November 12, 2010. Estimated PRICE RANGE is between $1 million to $2 million. This paragraph announces possible financing available to small businesses. The three types of businesses that are eligible to receive a loan through this program are: (1) Firms that have received DBE certification from a state or local transportation agency; (2) Firms that have been certified by the SBA as a Small Business; and (3) Firms that have received a disability rating by the Veteran's Administration and have certified themselves as a SDVOSB. Start-up businesses are not eligible to receive a STLP line of credit and should contact the SBA for information about other possible forms of financial assistance. (NOTE - This paragraph does not reserve this solicitation for these types of business): The Department of Transportation's (DOT) Short-Term Lending Program (STLP) offers working capital financing in the form of lines of credit to finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts.
