It provides the following functionalities:controlling of the different devices the EPR spectrometer is composed of e. g.: magnetic field controller signal channel, microwave bridge.monitoring of the devices in order to provide e. g.: diode current, receiver level, state of the microwave bridge.controlling different acquisition methods e. g.: field sweeps, ENDOR sweeps, pulsed experiments. The acquisition server is logically placed between the user programXepr and the spectrometer hardware controllers. Most of the hardware controlling is done vi a LAN. Xepr provides the graphical user inter faces to control andmonitor the ESR spectrometer and to perform EPR experimentsusing the acquisition server. In addition these user programsprovide a rich set of functionality for data processing.
