- FA4861-10-R-A014 SYNOPSIS Work shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials, supplies, equipment, transportation, supervision, and all else necessary to construct two facilities that will include site preparation and paving, HVAC, plumbing, lighting, electrical, fire protection, communications systems and mass notification systems. The contractor will be required to submit 35%, 95%, and 100% design packages, for both facilities, to the government for review and approval prior to issuance of the Notice to Proceed for Construction. The work to be performed is located at Nellis AFB, Nevada. *** Funds are not presently available for this project. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. *** Storage Facility (RKMF 08-0016) will be approximately 4,300 SF pre-fabricated metal building on a concrete slab. The facility will be used to store trailers, motorcycles and automotive equipment. The facility will be similar to standard automotive warehouse with approximately a 700 SF overhang on the outside for additional storage capability. The Period of Performance for this project is 300 Calendar days from receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Administrative Facility (RKMF 08-0017) will be approximately 3,200 SF pre-fabricated metal building on a concrete slab. The building shall have office space, restrooms, and a classroom for approximately 15 personnel. The Period of Performance for this project is 240 Calendar days from receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Magnitude: The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220 with a size standard of $33.5 million. The project magnitude is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. It is anticipated the solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 09 August 2010, on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) web page. Paper copies will not be available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. Note: Any prospective contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database in order to be eligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number from Dun and Bradstreet. Registration may take up to three weeks to process. Recommend registering immediately in order to be eligible for timely award. Effective 01 Jan, 2005, the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) requires the use of Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) in Federal solicitations as part of the proposal submission process.
