Description

The U.S. Geological Survey, Hydrologic Instrumentation Facility, Stennis Space Center, MS., has a requirement for (4 Each) Acoustic Doppler Current Profilers (ADCP) for discharge measurements, to be delivered to Stennis Space Center, MS., with the following characteristics Broadband signal processing to ensure the highest quality data with minimal noise by using coded pulses to make multiple measurements of phase with a single ping. Be of phased array design Minimum profiling range of 40cm and a maximum range of 40M Auto-adaptive sampling; adjusting the cell size and number of cells based on the water depth. Use internal Bluetooth communications Capable of RS232 input of GPS data from most commercial off the shelf (COTS) GPS Sensors. Have a DC voltage range of 10.5 to 18VDC Standard 16 mob internal loop There is no option period for this requirement. RFQ 10ERQQ0456 will be issued on or about 07/21/2010 with written quotes due on or about 08/10/2010 The NAICS code is 334516 The anticipated award date of the contract is 08/15/2010.
