- RECOVERY: This notice is provided for information purposes only. This opportunity is available only to contractors under the GSA Federal Supply Schedule 66 – Scientific Equipment and Services. This project will be funded through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. Description of Requirement: The Food and Drug Administration is soliciting for a CO2 incubator with two separate stackable units to separate different cell cultures while avoiding any cross-contamination. New CO2 incubator needs to meet size requirements to fit into limited space available in our laboratory. The minimal technical specifications of the CO2 incubator are the following: •Price must include shipping if any and a roller base. •Dual chamber, air-jacketed, with automatic flow and direct heat. •Two stackable units to separate different cell cultures while avoiding any cross-contamination. •Gross interior volume 6 cu. ft. each unit/ 12 cu. ft. total. •Exterior dimensions no more than 24.4” (width) x 28.0” (depth) x 70.8 (height)”. •Incubator has to be equipped with infrared CO2 sensor for CO2 precise control. •Copper-enriched stainless-steel interior is required to prevent contamination. •Stainless steel interior and removable, seamless, dished work surface with lift out knobs. •Temperature control range +5 to +50C in precise 0.1 degree increments as a minimum. •Incubator has to have audible and visible system alarms. •A mobility roller base •Easy access is a must. This procurement will be a firm-fixed price and will be competed under pre-existing Multiple Award Federal Supply Schedule contracts.
