- Description
- The 375th Contracting Squadron will be soliciting a 100% 8(a) small business set-aside, competitive Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) Program to provide Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Construction task orders at Scott AFB IL. Individual task order projects will consist of general construction trade categories and execute smaller, less complex projects. a broad range of maintenance, repair, minor and/or new construction. The maximum program value (combined value of all task orders from all awarded contracts) is not to exceed $40M over a five-year period. Each contract award will contain a basic 12-month period and four 12-month option periods. Project task orders may range between estimated $2,000 - $500,000. The anticipated performance period will run from 1 Sep 2010 through 31 August 2011 plus four one (1)-year option periods. The MATOC Program is for quick turn execution of smaller, less complex projects. Work to be performed under the MATOC will be within the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes as follows: Sector 23 - Construction, Subsection 236 - Construction of Buildings - size standard $33.5 Million. MATOC task orders may require the services of an architect/engineer in addition to work performed by normal general construction trades. Description of the work will be identified in each individual task order. The government may award up to three (3) contracts. The government will evaluate offers and select the awardees using Performance Price Trade-Off (PPT) best value source selection procedures. The solicitation will include a seed project to Repair Service Station, Bldg 565, Scott AFB IL. The seed project magnitude is between $25,000 and $100,000. This acquisition is a 8(a) small business set-aside. The solicitation is expected to be issued on or around 6 July 2010. The closing date and time for submission of offers will be contained in the solicitation package. The entire solicitation, including the seed project specifications and drawings, will be made available in electronic format only on the Federal Business Opportunities Web Site at https://www.fbo.gov. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation package and any other pertinent information and for downloading their own copy of the solicitation package. Potential offerors MUST register at https://www.fbo.gov in order to receive notification and/or changes to the solicitation. All contractors MUST be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database or their proposal will not be considered. Contractors can obtain further information on the Central Contractor registration (CCR) at web site http://www.ccr.gov.
