The solicitation has a base year and four option years. Configuration and Source Control apply to all NSNs. Surge requirements DO NOT apply to any NSNs. This is not a small business set aside. Other than full and open competition applies. The final contract award decision may be based on a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. The anticipated issue date is on or about July 30, 2010. The anticipated award date is November 26, 2010. One or more of the items under this acquisition may be subject to an Agreement on Government Procurement approved and implemented in the United States by the Trade Agreements Act of 1979. All offers shall be in the English language and in U.S. dollars. All interested suppliers may submit an offer. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only approved sources under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Based upon market research, all NSNs are NOT determined to be commercial, therefore the Government will not be using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. A copy of the solicitation will be available via the DIBBS on or about July 30, 2010 at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/ on the issue date cited in the RFP. Choose the RFP you wish to download.
